A la Carte rather than Table d'hote Trips of India
Most tour companies offer you a set of itineraries that you can choose. Two weeks traipsing around the palaces of the Golden Triangle or the temples of Southern India. We thought, ahem, how interesting or relevant is that? So we decided to do a different thing entirely which we think of as a la carte trip where we give you a huge list of possible places to see and things to do and you choose the ones that interest you and we then put them together into workable itineraries that you can book (or not). India is a colection of incredibly disparate landscapes and communities that would take years of travelling to do full justice. Most visitors only have a short period with us and so the problem is making choices and focusing on the things that will really interest you.
When we tried to imagine the best way to plan a tour we realised that we wanted to imagine it like different courses of a meal, so this is what we give you. Lots of different little ideas from all over India which together make up an Indian experience. Some are famous, one might say cliches and other fresh and new. We wanted to offer a complete view not just the Mughals and the Raj. India is a complex nation and to really experience it you should experience not just history and culture but also the politics and uncertainty.
Build up a Trip, Experience by Experience
Although we have sample itinerary and tour packages for you to taste, we prefer the idea of people choosing a la carte from a wide range of differences that are designed to introduce you to places, people, knowledge, senses or ideas. You can experience cultures or you can delve into the politics or history of India. We try to bring you the best of India, place by place.
You can call us, email us or use one of our forms and we hope that we can help you get the best of India.
